MindMap belongs to no international research network. In practice, that changes four things.
No methodology is imposed on us from a foreign head office. When a global standard doesn’t fit the Moroccan market — a recruitment mode, a fieldwork duration, a questionnaire format — we aren’t required to apply it anyway just to stay consistent with thirty other countries. The protocol is built for the question asked, not for a group manual.
No obligation to steer business applies. A firm affiliated with an international network sometimes routes a client toward whichever sister agency sits best in the group’s org chart, rather than the one best placed to answer the question. At MindMap, there is no group org chart to satisfy.
No commission leaves the country. Fees paid to MindMap stay in Morocco — no brand royalty, no margin skimmed by a foreign parent company before the work even begins.
No conflict arises when your competitor is also a client of an international network elsewhere in the world. An affiliated firm sometimes carries, without meaning to, the confidentiality commitments its network made on other accounts. MindMap only serves the mandates it signs itself, in Morocco.
When your question is sensitive — a launch before a competitor hears about it, an image study that might displease a shareholder, a price test that isn’t meant to leave the room — there is no one else in the room besides you and us.
